Cuyo is a small independent studio building software for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. We work on one thing at a time and don't ship it until we'd want it on our own home screen.
The things we make don't look much alike from the outside, and that's fine, the range is the point. What they have in common is how they're built: no ads, no accounts you don't need, no tracking, and nothing engineered to keep you opening the app when you'd rather be doing something else.
Open almost any media file (video, audio, images) and inspect it in detail. Live scopes show exactly what's happening: waveform, vectorscope, and histogram running in real time against the playing content. Capture stills at full source quality. Read codec details, bitrate over time, track layout, spatial audio configuration, and spec-compliance reports.
Supports MKV, ProRes, VP9, AV1, 10-bit HDR, and formats the built-in players won't touch.
